False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a three-year duration.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs start off at NCV level 2 and also the minimum amount prerequisite would then be Grade nine certificate with a pass in Mathematics.

Once the student finishes NCVLevel two, they might then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV engineering NCV Level three would be grade eleven and NCV Level 4 is grade twelve.

NCV Level 4 is at the exit level, being equivalent to a Countrywide Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade 9 is on NQF level one. Our NCV programmes start NCV level two which is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which kind of students are suited to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that conventional schooling is not automatically the only real method of turning into an artisan or starting to be certified so if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is actually perfectly suited to that student.
